Michel Bon
Board Member
Michel Bon has served as a Board member of Myriad Group AG since 2005. He previously was chairman and CEO of France Telecom from 1995 to 2002, during which France Telecom became one of the largest European telecom operators with strong positions in mobile (Orange), network services (Equant), and Internet (Wanadoo, FreeServe).
Mr. Bon earlier spent ten years in the banking sector, and then in 1985 joined Carrefour, the largest European retail company, first as CEO and then later as Chairman and CEO. He left Carrefour in 1993, when he was appointed by the Government to head the French Agency for Employment, ANPE, up to 1995.
Mr. Bon is currently Chairman of Devoteam and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Editions du Cerf. He is also a senior advisor to Permira and Roland Berger, and serves on the Board of Directors of Lafarge and SONAE
He was educated at ESSEC, ENA and Stanford.
