Myriad is looking for a Senior Engineer for the Chengdu office to work with our development team. Your mission will be to build and manage the teams ensuring they are suitably skilled and motivated to achieve quality delivery on time and on budget..

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities will include the following:
- R&D Software Development.
- Collaborates with the team to understand features and provide system architecture design and accurate estimation.
- Provide technical expertise.
- Design and implement features collectively with the team using best practices to meet system or solution deliverables.
- Work closely with team to develop and analyze system requirements, design and code implementation and debugging.
- Analyses reviews and refractors code to increase operating efficiency and extensibility and/or adapts programs to new requirements.
- Be highly responsive to critical development issues providing timely and effective solutions.
- Ensure to deliver high quality components on time.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Bachelor or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical degree with more than 5 years experience in software development.
- 3+ years experience designing and implementing on GUI.
- Extensive experience using Linux, Python (WxPython experience can be great too), Erlang, Java(J2EE /J2ME), XML, and Open Source Frameworks.
- In-depth knowledge and experiences on software engineering.
- High sense of responsibility and self-motivation.
- Strong motivation in learning and resolving engineering problems. Skilled at quickly learning new technologies and tools.
- A hunger for success and to get a job done well.
- Committed to customer satisfaction.
- Team player and good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent oral and written English.
Desirable
- Experience of working with international customers.
- Experience in WxPython
