Myriad Leads Mass Market Software Categories In VisionMobile 100 Million Club

Myriad Group AG, a global leader in mobile technology with software in over 2 billion phones, today welcomed the results of the latest VisionMobile 100 Million Club report, the watchlist of mobile software products which have been embedded on more than 100 million handsets.

Myriad features prominently in the report and is the only company to have products in three of the six software categories. VisionMobile notes that the Myriad Browser is the leading mobile web browser, having shipped in over 2 billion devices. Additionally, Myriad Messaging is the second most popular in the Middleware category having shipped in 920 million handsets and Myriad’s Jbed Java ME, which has shipped in 348 million handsets, is highlighted in the Application Environment. Only 30 products from 24 companies qualified to be on the list for this update.
