Change in the Board of Directors of Myriad Group AG

DUEBENDORF-ZURICH, Switzerland – 21 December 2010 – Myriad Group AG (SIX Swiss Exchange: MYRN), a global leader in mobile technology having shipped over 3.7 billion software applications on more than 2.2 billion phones, announced today that Jean Schmitt has resigned from the Board of Directors.

Jean Schmitt had been a member of the Board of Directors since 2002 and represented the interests of Sofinnova Partners SA and its funds, which were one of Myriad’s large Capital Venture investors. As Sofinnova reduced its holdings in Myriad Group AG to below 10% (disclosure notice by shareholder published on December 18, 2010), Jean Schmitt decided to step down from the Board of Directors with immediate effect.

The Board of Directors and the Senior Management are most grateful to Jean Schmitt for his strong commitment and contributions to Myriad Group AG and wish him every success for the future.
