The category winners were announced at the ceremony and presented by Myriad Group CEO, Simon Wilkinson during the evening Congress Party & Awards Celebration at this week’s 2011 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Signifying Myriad’s own leadership in mobile technology and commitment to innovation, the Myriad sponsored categories recognized best of breed devices as well as manufacturers who have led the charge in development and innovation over the past year.
Other nominees for the Best Mobile Device category included HTC for the HTC Desire, LG for the LG Optimus 7, RIM for the BlackBerry Torch 9800 and Samsung for Samsung Galaxy S.
